In November 2023, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) released its new General Compliance Program Guidance (“GCPG”). The GCPG includes updated recommendations for Compliance Programs, including an expanded role for the Compliance Officer and the Staff Compliance Committee and the development of an annual Compliance Training and Education Plan, annual compliance risk assessment and annual Compliance Work Plan.
In this Document Deep Dive, join Dianne Pledgie as she discusses Feldesman Leifer’s newly revised Compliance Program Description: Sample. As Dianne will discuss, the same document is designed to serve as the foundation of your organization’s Compliance Program. This session will walk through the sample to:
- Identify important updates to the Compliance Program elements under the GCPG
- Explain documentation best practices if/when you organization decides not to implement a recommendation from the GCPG
- Discuss how to use the sample if you are starting, revising or reinvigorating your organization’s Compliance Program
The Compliance Program Description: Sample has been completely revised for 2024. This Document Deep Dive will provide valuable information and insight for taking the sample and making it work for your health center.
Always complimentary for Premium Plan subscribers, each Document Deep Dive (including the recording and the sample document) is also available for purchase by health centers, behavioral health organizations and other direct care organizations.
The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase one week after the conclusion of the live webinar.
