In this webinar, we will focus on the intensive outpatient (IOP) program being launched for Medicare effective January 1, 2024. We will explore the array of services covered under IOP, billing rules for IOP, and how health centers can best use the talents of their entire behavioral health workforce, including peers and community health workers, to furnish IOP. We will also address the relationship between IOP services and the FQHC cost report; billing for IOP services provided to dual eligibles; and billing Medicare for supplemental payments for IOP services provided to enrollees in an MA plan.
