The CHCANYS Compliance and Risk Management Academy is a year-long learning initiative for health center professionals working in the areas of compliance and risk management. Our partners at Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell will guide participants through a four-part series of in-person and web-based interactive meetings.
At the two in-person meetings in October and March, participants will have the opportunity to learn about and collaborate on the development and sustainability of effective and successful compliance and risk management programs in their health centers.
At each of the web-based interactive meetings (in January and June), participants will discuss an important substantive risk area such as fraud and patient confidentiality. Invited guest speakers will focus on the New York state-specific requirements.
