Fundraising and Development: Top Compliance Concerns

November 13, 2025

Facing an environment where access to traditional revenue sources may be more limited and in an effort to obtain unrestricted funding, many health centers are expanding their fundraising capacity to include online donations, corporate and foundation grants, and events. With this increased capacity comes increased risk. It is important for health centers to understand and be able to recognize the common compliance risks associated with these and other fundraising mechanisms and be prepared to implement strategies to minimize those risks.

This webinar will identify top compliance concerns related to fundraising and development in the health center setting, suggest ways to assess these risks, and recommend activities and next steps to mitigate these risks.

This webinar will cover:

  • Compliance considerations when accepting foundation grants and corporate grants and sponsorships
  • Compliance considerations when accepting credit card donations, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and requirements to protect individual donor information
  • Developing both policies and procedures and work plan activities to mitigate risks related to fundraising and development

The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase after the conclusion of the live webinar.

Please note: This webinar is offered as a complimentary product to all Health Center Compliance Training Plan subscribers. For more information on our Health Center Compliance Training plan, click here or contact us.
