This webinar is closed to new enrollments. For more Head Start trainings, click here.
On August 28, 2020, the Office of Head Start (OHS) published a Final Rule updating the Designation Renewal System (DRS). Specifically, the Final Rule updated three of the seven current DRS conditions, including the (1) deficiency condition, (2) condition related to the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®), and (3) fiscal condition related to audit findings. On a whole, these changes are a positive development for Head Start programs nationwide. You may have seen the OHS guidance and watched the OHS webinar summarizing the final rules and the OHS Q&A Session. Hear what FTLF attorneys have to say about what Head Start programs should be thinking about with respect to the new rules on DRS. During this webinar we will share our observations on the key revisions, highlight particularly impactful changes, and discuss the likely future implications for Head Start Programs.
