Document Retention: When, Why, and How
This webinar is included in the
Health Center 360 Annual Compliance Training Subscription.
Health centers create and maintain a wide range of records, from patient and personnel files to financial, operational, and grant-related documents. Determining what must be retained, how long records should be kept, and when they can be securely destroyed requires navigating a complex landscape of federal and state requirements, payer obligations, litigation risks, and organizational needs.
This webinar will explore the legal and practical considerations that shape an effective document retention program. Feldesman attorneys Andrea Harris and Brendan Tyler will discuss high-level legal and operational considerations that shape document retention decisions, including policy development, records management, and destruction practices.
The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase after the conclusion of the live webinar.
