Grant Disclosures and Foreign Influence
This webinar is part 3 of 4 in "The Compliant Campus" webinar series. To purchase the full series, click here.
Federal funding agencies are increasingly requiring more stringent disclosures of foreign activities as part of research institutions’ efforts to apply for and receive grant awards. This webinar will focus on grantees’ obligations to collect and disclose more information from their senior and key personnel about potential foreign involvement or influence, as the failure to properly disclose can result in significant consequences, including award conditions, disallowing costs, terminating current awards or withholding future awards, or even an investigation by the Department of Justice under the False Claims Act. We will also discuss the evolving rules regarding international collaborations (including potential Uniform Guidance changes), latest mandates from the NIH and NSF, and shifting requirements for colleges and universities for gift reporting under Section 117 of the Higher Education Act.
The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase one week after the conclusion of the live webinar.
