Monthly Briefings for Federal Grantees: Key Updates and Developments (May 13, 2025)

May 13, 2025

Join the Feldesman Federal Grants Team for timely insights on recent Executive Orders, actions, and their implications

Federal policies can shift rapidly, affecting compliance, funding, and operations for organizations that rely on federal grants. To help grantees stay informed and proactive, we are launching a monthly briefing series analyzing the Trump Administration’s actions and their potential effects on federal funding, program requirements, and regulatory compliance.

During each 60-minute session, Feldesman attorneys will provide insights for recipients of federal funding in navigating the ever-changing news and evolving landscape. The webinar series will update participants on Administration policies and agency guidance and the ongoing federal court challenges to administration policies, providing an overview of the legal considerations around new Executive Orders and regulatory implementation, and detailing any congressional action pertinent to federal grantees.  Feldesman attorneys also will explore strategies for sustaining funding stability and mitigating risk—to the extent possible.

Each month’s webinar will lead with vital breaking news from the previous weeks, and then proceed to a more in-depth discussion of applicable ongoing legal frameworks and practical steps for your organization.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Agency-by-Agency Rundown
  • Injunction Status
  • Continuing Resolution and Budget Uncertainty
  • Adding New Grant Conditions to Existing Grants
  • Payment Challenges
  • Grant Terminations
  • New Awards
The on-demand version of this webinar will be available for purchase after the conclusion of the live webinar.
