(Recorded Webinar) Part 2: Applying the SFDP to Contracted and Referred Services and Establishing Discounted Cost-Sharing, Waivers, and Reductions
Duration: 75 minutes
One of the key areas of non-compliance with HRSA requirements is the application of the Sliding Fee Discount Program (SFDP) to health center arrangements that provide patients with access to in-scope services through contractual and referral agreements. Part 2 of this webinar series will focus on such arrangements, including a discussion of SFDP provisions for the related written agreements that have passed HRSA muster. This session will also address the application and extent of discounts to the out-of-pocket expenses of insured patients as well as additional waiver and reduction processes beyond the SFDP.
Target Audience
- Health Center executive staff
- Financial leadership and staff, including billing and collection staff
- Administrative / operations staff
- Compliance officers
- Contracting personnel
- Other staff assisting with the development and implementation of the Sliding fee Discount Program
