Nearly all health centers take part in the professional liability protection offered under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) program. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) published Program Assistance Letter (PAL) 2025-01, Calendar Year 2026 Requirements for Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Coverage for Health Centers and Their Covered Individuals, describing the deeming requirements for health centers for CY 2026.

This webinar will cover the CY 2026 deeming application process. We will walk through the CY 2026 deeming application PAL and discuss:

  • How to submit an FTCA deeming application.
  • Significant changes to the application from prior years.
  • Strategies and best practices in preparing the application.
  • Common application pitfalls.
