Life of a Subrecipient in a Federal Grants World

April 25, 2024

Access the on-demand webinar here.

Are you a subrecipient or considering becoming a subrecipient in a federally funded project? Being a subrecipient can lead to organizational transformation and growth, but effective subrecipient performance requires close collaboration with the prime award recipient.  Additionally, you must have a thorough understanding of your organization’s role, potential risks, and rights as a subrecipient.

In this webinar, attorney Phillip Escoriaza will examine critical considerations for organizations that are already subrecipients or are considering establishing a subrecipient relationship with a pass-through entity.

  • Is your organization prepared to meet the prime award’s objectives and funding requirements?
  • How will you effectively respond to oversight from your pass-through partner or possible oversight from the federal funding agency?
  • Can your organization handle the increased levels of scrutiny over its management, financials and operations?
  • What are your rights as a subrecipient?
  • What are the risks and what can be done if your organization does not perform as planned?

Please note: This webinar is offered as a complimentary product to all Federal Grants Training Members. For more information on our Federal Grants Training Membership, click here or contact us.
