(Recorded Webinar) Concept to Practice: Grants Management Essentials for New Health Center Grantees
Register now to receive access to the recorded webinar on October 5, 2026. Live webinar registrants will automatically receive access to the recorded webinar.
Organizations transitioning from Health Center Program look-alike status to New Access Point grantees are entering a new phase of federal responsibility. While many Health Center Program requirements may already be familiar, receiving a federal award introduces new expectations related to financial management, compliance, internal controls, documentation, monitoring, and stewardship of federal funds.
This webinar will help new grantees understand the legal, financial and operational requirements of becoming a federal grant recipient and how to translate those requirements into practical, day-to-day processes, policies and procedures. Participants will explore key grants management concepts, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), Notice of Award requirements, allowable costs, budget management, procurement standards, personnel expense documentation, financial reporting, internal controls, subrecipient considerations, and audit readiness.
Moving beyond regulatory requirements, the session will use practical examples and real-world scenarios to demonstrate how grant requirements influence decisions across finance, operations, clinical leadership, and program teams. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of their responsibilities as federal grantees, a roadmap for building effective grants management infrastructure, and practical strategies to support compliance while maximizing the impact of federal resources.
