(Recorded Webinar) Contracts Under Grants: Required and Recommended Terms and Conditions

Duration: 90 minutes
Recorded on: 02/27/2025

When federal grantees enter into contracts with contractors (historically also referred to as “vendors”), a key consideration is what terms and conditions they are required to include in the final agreements.  Some terms and conditions are specifically called out within 2 CFR Part 200, Appendix II, such as termination for cause and convenience clauses or specific terms that can apply in federally assisted construction.  However, Appendix II is, unfortunately, not a complete list, either with respect to specifically required clauses or clauses that are highly advisable even when not required.

In this webinar, Feldesman attorneys Phillip A. Escoriaza and Scott S. Sheffler will use plain language to discuss required and recommended terms and conditions in federally funded contracts and will address considerations on how best to incorporate them into contract documents.
