Research and development grant awards entail special compliance considerations, both in terms of unique legal requirements and the government’s shifting enforcement focus. This webinar addresses key compliance and risk areas from the perspective of recipients of research funding, including: (1) special grant management obligations and flexibilities typical to research awards; (2) key changes in the new Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR Part 200, of particular importance to research institutions; (3) traditional grant management requirements that can pose challenges in the research environment (such as time and effort documentation); and (iv) new Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General, and funding agency areas of enforcement emphasis.
